ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು: ಬೀಗ ಹಾಕಿದ ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬೀಗ ಮುರಿದು ಕಳವು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಖತರ್ನಾಕ್ ಕಳ್ಳನನ್ನು ಕಾಮಾಕ್ಷಿಪಾಳ್ಯ ಠಾಣೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕಾಡುಗೊಂಡನಹಳ್ಳಿ ವೆಂಕಟೇಶಪುರ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಮಹಮ್ಮದ್ ಹಫೀಜ್(21) ಬಂಧಿತ. ಆರೋಪಿಯಿಂದ 8.22 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ.
ಮೌಲ್ಯದ 137 ಗ್ರಾಂ ಚಿನ್ನಾಭರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಜಪ್ತಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಸುಂಕದಕಟ್ಟೆಯ ಮುತ್ತುರಾಯಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಲೇಔಟ್ನ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರ ಮನೆಯ ಬೀಗ ಮುರಿದು ದುಷ್ಕರ್ಮಿಗಳು ಕಳ್ಳತನ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ದಾಖಲಾದ ದೂರಿನ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ಆರೋಪಿಯನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಆರೋಪಿಯು ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ಕಳ್ಳನಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ರಾಮಮೂರ್ತಿನಗರ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಠಾಣೆಗಳ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮನೆಗಳವು ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಕೆಲ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂಧಣಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿ ಜೈಲು ಸೇರಿದ್ದ ಆರೋಪಿಯು ಜಾಮೀನು ಪಡೆದು ಹೊರಬಂದ ಬಳಿಕವೂ ತನ್ನ ಹಳೇಚಾಳಿ ಮುಂದುವರೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ. ಈತನ ಬಂಧನದಿಂದ ಕಾಮಾಕ್ಷಿಪಾಳ್ಯ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ಮೂರು ಮನೆಗಳವು ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿವೆ.
ಆರೋಪಿ ಮಹಮ್ಮದ್ ಹಫೀಜ್ ದುಶ್ಚಟಗಳ ದಾಸನಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಹಣ ಗಳಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಅಪರಾಧ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ನಗರದ ವಿವಿಧೆಡೆ ಸುತ್ತಾಡಿ ಬೀಗ ಹಾಕಿದ ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬೀಗ ಮುರಿದು ಮನೆಗೆ ನುಗ್ಗಿ ನಗದು, ಚಿನ್ನಾಭರಣ ದೋಚುವ ಪ್ರವೃತ್ತಿ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಕದ್ದ ಮಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಲೇವಾರಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಬಂದ ಹಣದಿಂದ ಮೋಜು-ಮಸ್ತಿ ಮಾಡಿ ವ್ಯಯಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಎಂಬುದು ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯಿಂದ ತಿಳಿದು ಬಂದಿದೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
